I liked the Citadel, although I don’t think Sandy was into as much as I. We spent 3 hours going through it. It is located on top of the hill overlooking the harbor and downtown Halifax Nova Scotia. They have college students in old time outfits acting the parts and giving tours. They fire a canon at 12:00 noon and will let you fire an old Springfield rifle 3 times for $22. I was impressed and would recommend this during your visit.
