Hershey RV Show 2017

We traveled for the 2nd year to the Hershey Pa RV Show (which is suppose to be the largest outdoor RV show in the United States) to look at and obtain pricing for our dream Motor Home.  We spent a lot of time in the Winnebago/Camping World booth looking at the Journey, but when we sat down to negotiate, they did not want to deal.  We then started looking at alternative RVs.  The Dutch Star caught our eye.  After negotiating on it we decided it was out of our price range.  To our surprise the Dutch Star Dealer was also a Winnebago dealer and also had a 2017 model close to our dream MH so we started to negotiate.  In the end, the 2017 price was to high for a year old unit, but we did obtain a very good price on a new unit.   After checking the dealers repair history and considering they were 8 hours drive away from home we decided to go back to our local dealer.  The local dealer agreed to match the show price so we ordered our Winnebago Journey retirement dream.  It just so happened it is one of the last three units to be manufactured this year in Oregon.
